Our solution spans intra-modal, cross-modal, and multi-modal data boundaries across photonic, quantum, neuromorphic, and biological systems. The substrate is the physical medium a system is realized in. The modality is the phenomenon a system carries. The architecture is how a system is built. Combining physical data transformations with modality abstractions produces a new form of data engineering. Data crosses boundaries in flight.

ACE is a platform for physical data stream transformations across modal boundaries. Substrates that would otherwise require separate integrations share a uniform data model. Transformations carry substrate context, so data stays interpretable at every stage.

Arbigen harnesses nature's data factories, turning physical phenomena into data sources. We are a data company specializing in substrates that compute, sense, and network with unconventional architectures. By bridging high-performance computing and emerging substrates, we make modal data available for production. Our middleware runs on the optical infrastructure data centers already operate.

Silicon photonics enables new programming interfaces over light-based communication systems. Our stack covers network-on-chip to telecom networks. Beyond optical transport, other physical carriers are in development where photons don't reach.

Arbigen works across software, firmware, and hardware, because a data layer for physical systems can't live in software alone. Different substrates solve different problems. Computational maturity and data maturity are not the same. A substrate can serve as a data source before its architecture is reliable. We build the layer that makes those sources usable.
